3. How Data Is Used
All data stored by our apps is used solely to provide the app's functionality — creating invoices, logging hydration, tracking attendance, managing inventory, generating reports, scanning documents, and so on. We do not mine, sell, or analyze your app data for advertising or profiling.
4. Permissions We Request
Different apps request different permissions depending on their features. Common permissions include:
- Notifications: For reminders (hydration, bills, tasks)
- Camera: For document scanning, QR scanning, OCR
- Storage: For saving invoices, PDFs, backups, exports
- Microphone: For AI voice features (AquaBell)
- Vibration: For reminder alerts
- Wake Lock: For alarm & reminder playback
- Boot Completed: To restore reminders after device restart
- Schedule Exact Alarm: For timely reminders
No permission is used for data collection or tracking. Every permission serves a specific app feature visible to you.
5. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Some of our apps may display ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (Advertising ID), ad interaction data, and diagnostic logs according to Google's advertising policies. Users in applicable regions are shown consent dialogs. Apps that do not display ads (including AquaBell Water Intake) do not use AdMob.
AdMob's privacy practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Google Drive Backup
If you choose Drive Backup in apps that support it, the app uses Google Drive access only to create and restore backup files within the app's own Drive folder. The app does not request full Drive access or read other files on your Drive.
7. Sharing Your Data
Our apps share data only when you trigger the action — such as:
- Sending an invoice via email, WhatsApp, or SMS
- Opening a PDF in another app
- Exporting a report or CSV file
- Backing up to Google Drive
- Printing a document
Once shared, the receiving app or service handles the data according to its own privacy policy.
8. Security
- Cleartext traffic is disabled in all our apps
- Data is stored locally on your device using Android Room database
- Where applicable, local PIN protection is available
- Backup files use standard JSON format readable only by the app
- We use ProGuard code obfuscation in release builds
9. Third-Party Services
Our apps may interact with the following third-party services (all governed by their own policies):
- Google Play Services (app distribution, updates)
- Google AdMob (advertising in select apps)
- Google Drive (optional backup in select apps)
- Android System Components (notifications, alarms, TTS engine)
- File Provider (sharing files to other apps)
10. Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Student App is designed for general educational use by students of all ages but does not request age verification or collect sensitive child data.
11. Data Retention and Deletion
Your data remains on your device until you:
- Delete individual records within the app
- Clear the app's storage in Android Settings
- Uninstall the app
Exported files, shared documents, and backups saved outside the app must be deleted separately by you.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and reflected in the effective date. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance.
